Congratulations to both of you as you enter into the beautiful vocation of marriage! With God at your side you will be starting on a lifetime journey of love. Marriage is an intimate community of life and love, established by the Creator and endowed by Him with its own proper laws. God, Himself, is the author of marriage. The vocation to marriage is written in the very nature of man and woman as they came from the Hand of the Creator. Marriage is not purely a human institution. The marriage covenant is a relationship between husband and wife, a permanent union of persons, capable of knowing and loving each other and God.

Love by its very nature requires a giving and receiving by each person in relationship and marriage requires this in an on-going and lasting way.

We want to help you prepare for your lifelong, successful marriage. Please contact the parish at least one year in advance to set up an appointment with one of our priests and begin preparing. Note that a marriage preparation program is required.
